At Sweet October, we want you to love every piece you receive. Each item is carefully inspected and packaged with intention by our family before it ships.
Because many of our pieces are personalized and made-to-order, please review our policy below.
Returns
We accept returns on non-personalized items within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must be returned in original packaging
- Proof of purchase is required

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect.
Personalized & Custom Pieces
All personalized items — including monogram necklaces — are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Because these pieces are made specifically for you, we are unable to restock them.
If there is an issue with your personalized order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery so we can make it right.
Pre-Orders
Pre-order items are made and prepared during the stated production window.
Pre-orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase only.
After 24 hours, production begins and orders cannot be canceled.
Estimated shipping timelines are provided at checkout. While we aim to ship within the promised timeframe, minor delays may occur during high-volume seasons (such as Mother’s Day).
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong piece, please email us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Clear photos of the item and packaging
We will gladly replace the item or issue a refund if the issue is confirmed.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return (if applicable), you will be notified of approval.
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different item, please return the eligible item and place a new order.
